This solution design includes a dual redundant power over ethernet data network with WiFi LAN and IP phone connectivity for multiple tenants. This solution is designed to grow with the clients needs and requirements.



The OmniPCX PBX is a pure IP offering able to work on the data network and offering high availability to the users whether they are hard wired IP phones and Wifi handsets for the cargo area.


The solution includes easy management of the network with Alcatel-Lucent Omnivista management suite network management solution. This redundant network allows for the maximum uptime and availability for the Staff of the Cargo Terminal.


As airport security is of utmost importance to meet this requirement we have installed Alcatel-Lucent Brick Fire walls the appliances have one of the highest security ratings.The Alcatel-Lucent AP 70 is wi-fi access point with the ability to connect voice calls and data simultaneously. All the Alcatel-Lucent AP70’s access points are protected by One Touch security and quarantine manager.

The Alcatel network was chosen for its interoperability with other networks and devices within the King Shaka Airport domain.
